The Departments of National Economy and Finance & Banking within the Faculty of Economics at Danish University were established in 2012 (1391) under the framework of the Faculty of Economics, in line with the policies and developmental programs of the university leadership and with the approval of the Ministry of Higher Education of Afghanistan. Their purpose is to advance higher and professional education and to train national academic cadres.
Vision: The Department of National Economy strives, while upholding Islamic values, to train professional academic cadres and provide improved educational facilities, thereby taking practical steps toward building a stable society.
Mission: The Department of National Economy endeavors, in accordance with Islamic values, to launch enhanced academic programs aligned with the strategic plan and to contribute to the academic community through creative activities.
Vision: The Department of Finance and Banking seeks, while upholding Islamic values, to nurture capable, innovative, and committed academic cadres. It aims to play a key role in strengthening the country’s financial and banking system, offering specialized consultations, and providing a suitable foundation for sustainable economic development.
Mission: The Department of Finance and Banking is committed, in accordance with Islamic values, to delivering quality education, conducting scientific research, and implementing practical programs. It equips students with theoretical and practical skills in finance, banking, and economics to serve society effectively.
