(Khaleelullah Khalili Book Cottage)

The Danish University Library was established in 2012 (1391 AH) and has since served the students and graduates of this academic institution with dedication. In 2015 (1394 AH), in honor of the distinguished scholar and poet Professor Khaleelullah Khalili, the library was renamed the Khaleelullah Khalili Book Cottage.

The library provides professors, academic and administrative staff, students, and alumni with a rich collection of physical and electronic books, internationally recognized scientific journals, scholarly theses, and other essential educational resources. In addition, it offers a serene environment for study, individual workrooms, and spaces for group discussions. Students also benefit from well‑equipped computer laboratories and the university’s digital library services.

The holdings of the Khaleelullah Khalili Library are organized into the following sections:

  • Religious Studies – accessible to all faculty, staff, students, and alumni.

  • Medical Sciences – for professors, students, and graduates of the Faculty of Medicine.

  • Economics – for faculty members, students, and graduates of the Faculty of Economics.

  • Law and Political Science – serving professors, students, and graduates of the Faculty of Law and Political Science.

  • General Collection – encompassing general knowledge, motivational works, and diverse subjects.

Beyond its existing programs, the library also plans to organize educational and motivational initiatives aimed at encouraging young learners to cultivate a passion for reading and research.
