Danish University – A Brief History

Danish University was established in Jawza 1391 (June 2012) in Charikar city, Parwan Province, through the initiative of the knowledge-loving and education-promoting personality, Dr. Mohammad Najib Danish, with the encouragement and full support of academic and cultural figures from the provinces of Parwan, Kapisa, and Panjshir.

In its first academic year, Danish University began with 132 students and 20 professors, launching the faculties of Economics and Law & Political Science. In 1393 (2014), the University successfully obtained official authorization to establish the Faculty of Medicine, and at present, it proudly operates with three faculties: Medicine, Economics, and Law & Political Science.
