The 27th round of the Danish University entrance examination (Kankor) was successfully held with the presence of professors, students, and the appointed delegation from the Ministry of Higher Education. Conducted in a calm, secure, and dignified atmosphere, this examination marked an important step in the advancement of knowledge and education in the country.
At the beginning of the ceremony, Assistant Professor Orang Azarkhash, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs of Danish University, welcomed the participants and highlighted the academic achievements of the institution over the past decade. He emphasized the university’s vital role in promoting science and education nationwide, stating: “It is a source of pride that Danish University continues to take firm steps on the path of academic development, embracing young seekers of knowledge under the shade of education and training.”
Following this, Associate Professor Mohammad Zarif Mehrzad, a faculty member of Parwan University and representative of the Ministry’s delegation, underscored the importance of science and technology in improving people’s lives. He remarked: “We must invest in knowledge and education, for the progress of every society depends on its attention to science and technology.”
Later, Mawlawi Mohammad Faheem Arif, Head of Da’wa and Guidance at Danish University, drew upon Qur’anic teachings to stress that the pursuit of knowledge is among the most significant Islamic values. He urged the youth to remain committed to Islamic ethics alongside their studies and to apply knowledge in service of society.
The gathering concluded with a spiritual prayer led by Assistant Professor Mawlawi Khair Mohammad Saeedi, faculty member of Parwan University and member of the Ministry’s delegation. In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of learning accompanied by faith and commitment, and prayed for the success of all students.
Finally, Nasrullah Nusrat, Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs at Danish University, provided details regarding the conduct of the examination, the distribution of question papers, the announcement of results, and the commencement of classes for new students.
